Industry Leaders Collaborate on Position Paper to Strengthen Dispute Board Efficiency
Representatives from the Confederation of International Contractors’ Associations (CICA), European International
Contractors (EIC), and the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) have jointly developed a position paper titled: “Enhanced Efficiency Increases Value of Dispute Boards: Addressing Practical Challenges Faced During DB Implementation with Recommendations for Improvement.” The paper was shared with key stakeholders at development banks and other relevant institutions in early 2025, aiming to spark dialogue and action around improving the implementation and performance of Dispute Boards globally.
To broaden the conversation, the findings and recommendations will be presented to the global construction and dispute resolution community during an upcoming webinar on 22 September 2025.
